EdJAM Funding Awards Phase 2: Collaboration, Learning, Sharing and Impact

In January 2023, existing EdJAM network colleagues were invited to apply to EdJAM’s Collaboration, Learning, Sharing and Impact (CLSI) funding award. Applications were encouraged to meet at least one of EdJAM’s CLSI aims, with the intention to enable connections and learning across projects to deepen the impact of our work as a network.

EdJAM CLSI Funding Aims:

  • Collaboration: Connect existing EdJAM projects in order to exchange ideas and approaches, enable mutual learning and share methodologies and tools for teaching and learning about past violence and injustice.
  • Learning: Enable learning about the outcomes and impact of ongoing EdJAM work – including of an individual project or group of projects – through research that helps to understand and share promising practices or theoretical insights.
  • Sharing: Shares EdJAM work in important local, national, regional and international fora and events, including conferences, exhibitions, performances and other meetings.
  • Impact: Deepens the impact of EdJAM work – including of an individual project or group of projects – including by developing materials (e.g. websites, teaching guides, academic publications, etc.), engaging with key stakeholders and audiences, or working to change policy and practices.

We were delighted to have received a total of 17 applications and, after review, we awarded the following 11 network projects funding of up to £20,000:

We look forward to sharing the results from these project teams later this year!
