Ali Raza

Almost every scripted animation and poster disseminated on Hashiya’s platform is first translated into Urdu through Ali. This material includes a vocabulary that often has no prior Urdu equivalents; as such, Ali’s translation work is core to making Hashiya’s decolonizing ethic accessible and relevant for readers in the Urdu language. He is a key member of the Progressive Students Collective based in Punjab and was the editor-in-chief of The Students’ Herald, a student publication centring on the political and everyday issues of students across Pakistan.

He is a graduate of the Government College University in Lahore.
