Arturo Charria is a political scientist, professional in literary studies and has a master degree in Cultural Studies from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
He has been a professor of Colombian History, Literature and Citizenship in schools in Bogotá. Arturo was also director of the Center for Memory, Peace and Reconciliation of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá and Secretary of Education of Cúcuta. Currently, Arturo coordinates the chapter for childhood and youth of Colombia’s Truth Commission. In 2016 he was nominated for the Premio Compartir al Maestro. Since 2015 he has been writing opinion columns in El Espectador.
