Spanish translator for EdJAM, and hugely passionate about languages and socially driven projects. EdJAM objectives mirror my aspiration towards a socially responsible academic career, raising awareness amongst policy makers on linguistic discrimination in the UK.
Venezuelan national with Spanish and British citizenship. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, with wide range of translation experience in Spain and UK in legal and insurance sectors. I have also worked for the University of Bristol as Qualitative Analysis Researcher (Schools of Engineering and Economics); Member of the EDI Committee; Widening Participation Tutor, Research Associate, and Teaching Assistant (School of Modern Languages – SML).
LLB in Law, M.Ed. in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (Hons.), MA in Modern Languages, and PhD candidate at the University of Bristol SML, with academic expertise in Sociolinguistics. With award winning publications of literary works in Spanish, and published opinion pieces in English and Spanish.
