Merci Ortiz Herrera

Merci is Peruvian, born in Lima, and now living in Cusco, where she learned even more about her own country and culture. When she is not travelling, she is hiking, cooking, dancing, listening to music, or sharing with family, friends, and dogs. “I looooove pasta, fried rice, desserts, and good horror stories.”

She has more than ten years of experience in tourism, marketing, and managing experience in Peru and the US. Her purpose is to help others with her career and, in her way, transform tourism into an essential tool for international relations. She will never get tired of learning; her journey, experience, knowledge, and attitude have led her to the best: beautiful people who have enriched her life and career.

Merci’s educational background includes Tourism Management and a Marketing Specialization, both at San Ignacio de Loyola University, International Relations at the Diplomatic Academy of Peru, and now a Master’s in International Cooperation and counting.
