Abiti Adebo Nelson is Co-Investigator on the Heritage, Education and Everyday Life theme together with Kate Moles.
Abiti has spent 10 years as Curator for Ethnography and History at the Uganda National Museum. He is currently studying histories of ethnographic museums as a PhD student of History at the University of Western Cape in South Africa. Abiti has also worked as Co-investigator on the AHRC funded project on ‘Indicators for informal learning: a mobile heritage network for conflict-affected communities in Uganda northern Uganda’ with Nono Francis, Lizzi Millgan and Kate Moles. Abiti’s work has led to productions of co-curated exhibitions on ‘Road to Reconciliation’ Milk exhibition project in Uganda and Switzerland and ‘Unseen Archive of Idi Amin’ that opened at Uganda Museum 18th May 2019.
