Kerry is a third-year undergraduate student in the School of Education at the University of Bristol, studying BSc Education Studies. She is particularly interested in education, critical pedagogies as well as digital learning and literacies. Kerry joined the EdJAM team in her second year as a placement student for one of her optional units (Education in Practice) to gain some valuable practical experience in a research environment in an area that matched her interests. Following her placement, she was offered and accepted the role of Research Assistant for EdJAM.
Before returning to study as a mature student in 2019, Kerry gained several years of experience in managing and organising adult training. She has also recently worked for an education charity and as a learning support assistant in a primary school.
