Rana is a thought leader with extensive experience in research and social programming for refugees.
Her previous and ongoing work has measured the effect of reading and other forms of education on children in refugee camps, using her background in biology to understand indicators of stress. She is especially versed in how social initiatives may be implemented with a view to long-term health benefits. Her network of senior government officials, humanitarian organisations, and grassroots movements will allow her to advise the project on how to steer through difficulties while maintaining a critical and constructive stance.
