Wendy is a researcher for the EdJAM project "Graphics to decolonise memory: creative pedagogies among the street, the village, and the academia" in Colombia.
She is a communitarian feminist and folk communicator, and also the co-founder of the cultural association Palabreras & Callejeras (Chatterboxes & Streetwise). She has been an activist for women’s and for mother earth´s rights for more than 10 years. She is an apprentice in Andean plant medicine and its uses in natural gynaecology. Collectively, she has researched to create alternative methodologies that articulate art, folk education, and human rights. As a student of Public Administration, she has been interested in the diagnosis, formulation, and analysis of public policies to address inequality in Colombia.
